Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Department: Neuro Trauma ICU

Shift Timings:  18:30 - 07:00

​Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
• Implementing medical care plans;
• Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
• Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and 
• Performing other related duties as assigned/required.

• This is a 22 bed Neuro Trauma Unit in a level II trauma center, providing ICU level care to the adult population, including those requiring surgical intervention.
• Required a minimum of 2 years of Experience. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• ​​​​BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• ​Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of RN Neuro ICU experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Oklahoma state license
• One year of Epic experience
